Sometimes, a golf tournament could get so personal, and so emotionally attached to you, that your emotions could affect your game already. That's why when it feels like this you need to gain authority over your emotions, and keep them under your control.

You need to keep calm. Analyze your opponents. If you think you have a chance of winning then claim that you do have a chance of winning. Think positive.

Do not lose your nerves, and no matter what, do not show your nervousness to your opponent. Keep it inside and smile. Do not flaunt it because it could be used against you.

A research was done regarding female golfers and male golfers. Apparently female golfers play less than they actually can under the pressures of a golf tournament. But to all the female golfers out there, don't worry. Though this might be true, it doesn't apply to anyone.

A female golf champion proves this to be so. Her strategy is just simple. She just plays the game.

She doesn't wait and watch how her opponents play. She just makes sure that she plays each round to the best that she can. That's it.

The strategy that she uses might indeed prove to be effective. She became a champion golfer. Her technique though may not work very well with others.

We all have to discover our own groove. We all have different emotional make-ups so it is just logical that we are going to use different methods to go about our emotions.

Just remember that you have to find your own strategy. There are a lot of factors that determine each person's emotional make-up. Determine yours, and work your way from there. Winning your next tournament is right in your hands.
